The Msimbazi Reds Will Play The First Leg, First Round Preliminary Meeting Away At Obert Itani Chilume Stadium In Botswana On Saturday. Speaking Ahead Of The Game, The South African Coach Emphasised On Why He Wants To Win The Two Fixtures, Home And Away.
“For Us To Qualify For The Second Round Of The Competition, We Have To Win All The Two Matches In The First Preliminary Round, So It Will Be Important To Win The Away And Home Matches To Be Assured Of Progressing,” Davids Told Pan-Africa Football.
Davids Admitted His Side Has Had Enough Preparations Heading Into The Fixture Having Played Two Matches. Simba Defeated Kenyan Record Champions Gor Mahia 2-0 To Celebrate Simba Day Before Losing 1-0 To Their Rivals Young Africans In The Season Curtain Raiser Community Shield.
“We Have Prepared Ourselves To Do So, That Is What We Want To Achieve, Win Here And Then Go Back And Win At Home. We Have Come Here Well Prepared, We Have Two Top Matches, The Simba Day Friendly And The Community Shield, And The Two Matches Have Improved Our Quality Heading Into The Champions League Game.”
